INTERMODELLBAU 2026 will take place from Thursday, April 16 to Sunday, April 19, 2026.

Opening hours:
Thursday to Saturday 9:00 – 18:00, Sunday 9:00 – 17:00.

We open the following entrances: Entrance North and Entrance Messe West.

Dogs are not permitted in the exhibition halls.

Parking:
Parking spaces A3, A4, A8, as well as C1/D1, D2 and E1 or parking lot M (Mercedes) are available. The maximum parking fee is EUR 11.00 per car.

By train:

By public transport:
From the subway station “Westfalenhallen” (line U45) you can reach the exhibition grounds in just 10 minutes from Dortmund main station. Alternatively, the U46 will also take you to the “Westfalenhallen” stop in about 5 minutes. The stops are barrier-free and well signposted.

Airports:
The airports of Dortmund, Düsseldorf and Cologne/Bonn are located nearby.

In accordance with the decree issued by the Federal Foreign Office on 24.07.2013, a letter of invitation from the trade fair company is generally not required. If you still require such a letter, you can create it yourself by filling out the form with your personal details. After submitting the form, you will receive your invitation letter by e-mail.

Messe Dortmund offers free WLAN via the CityWLAN of the City of Dortmund. Connect to the “Hotspot Westfalenhallen” network, accept the terms and conditions and you can start using the WLAN.

Accessibility
The exhibition grounds are completely barrier-free. Halls 4 to 8 are connected at ground level, and the upper halls and the congress area are accessible via elevators. Disabled toilets with Eurokey locking systems are available in all halls. Wheelchairs can be borrowed for a deposit at the North Entrance (limited availability). INTERMODELLBAU is organized in the exhibition halls of Messe Dortmund GmbH. Its address is Rheinlanddamm 200, 44139 Dortmund.

INTERMODELLBAU 2026 will take place from Thursday, April 16 to Sunday, April 19, 2026. The exhibition halls will be open from Thursday to Saturday from 9:00 to 18:00 and Sunday from 9:00 to 17:00.

There are several parking lots around the trade fair center. Directly at the North Entrance of Messe Dortmund, you can park in the A3 and A4 parking lots in the immediate vicinity. Messe Dortmund has over 9,000 parking spaces for cars and buses.

A further 6,000 parking spaces are located around the site, from where the trade fair can be reached quickly and easily on foot.

Around 61,000 visitors attended INTERMODELLBAU in the Dortmund exhibition halls, one in five of whom came from abroad. This means that INTERMODELLBAU presents itself every year in the style of a leading trade fair.

INTERMODELLBAU inspires all age groups.

Young children are fascinated to experience the otherwise huge ships or airplanes up close and hold them in their hands.
