Unfortunatelly time and time again exhibitors are contacted by dubious companies wanting to include them in so-called Trade Fair and Exhibitors’ Directories, such as FAIR GUIDE, International Fairs Directory or EXPO-GUIDE. In most cases these are publishing companies who have not been authorised by the Trade Fair Organiser and who change for insertions in various directories after giving the impression that their services are free of charge. >> read more

We are looking forward to many visitors to INTERMODELLBAU on 21 April. Furthermore, a soccer match in the German Bundesliga takes place in the neighbouring Signal Iduna Park on Saturday evening at 6:30 pm. The traffic volume will be correspondingly high. Read more about the special directions:

Exhibition for model-making and model sport

10 halls offer sufficient space for the exchange of information, market observation and the purchase of models, kit components and tools. The INTERMODELLBAU exhibition offers a large accompanying programme and diverse special show features. 80000 visitors came to the exhibition in 2017 and rated the product range on offer at the exhibition as ‘good’.

INTERMODELLBAU - Worldwide number one

The INTERMODELLBAU exhibition at the Dortmund Exhibition Centre is the worldwide largest exhibition for model-making and model sports. More than 20,000 models can be seen in ten halls: aeroplanes, helicopters, model railways, RC vehicles, working models, model ships, cardboard models, figures, dioramas and much more.

The entire world of model-making at the Dortmund Exhibition Centre

More than 500 exhibitors participate at INTERMODELLBAU in Dortmund and in the accompanying expert forum for aeromodelling, experTEC. The entire offer in the Westfalenhallen exhibition halls ranges from the traditional H0 model railways to modern 3D printers – the entire world of model-making and model sports at the INTERMODELLBAU exhibition.

Leading International Exhibition

Exhibitors from 20 countries come to INTERMODELLBAU in Dortmund. About 82,000 visitors are counted at the exhibition, each fifth is travelling from abroad. INTERMODELLBAU thus annually presents itself as the leading international exhibition.

Shows and Demonstrations inside and outside of the exhibition halls

Numerous shows and events, like flight shows, demonstrations at the water basin, RC car racing and various courses for RC trucks and mountain vehicles are some of the attractions of the Dortmund exhibition.
